Hertz Kompressoren UK sponsored the Dark Blues Dance Band at the British Compressed Air Society (BCAS) Ball, to take place at the Savoy Hotel, London on Saturday 24th November 2012.
The theme for 2012 event was Las Vegas, featuring more than 6 hours of fine dining and dancing during an evening of spectacular entertainment in the Savoy’s Lancaster Ballroom. The main entertainment was provided by the ‘Rat Pack’ trio; recreating the magic of Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jnr and Dean Martin. And, as an added attraction, there was also an appearance by ‘Marilyn Monroe’.
Furthermore, this BCAS Ball again supported the children’s charity SPARKS, and all proceeds from the event was donated to the charity.
Hertz Kompressoren UK’s Managing Director Graeme Middleton-Duff, commented: “We are delighted to be sponsoring the band at this year’s BCAS Ball. As members of BCAS, we are very proud to have this opportunity to support the event, which has proved extremely popular attraction for our industry over the years; offering quality entertainment, recognising high standards within our industry and of course supporting leading charities such as SPARKS.”
Hertz Kompressoren UK has launched its new HSC-D direct drive, variable speed rotary screw compressors, covering kW outputs from 22kW to 315kW, Because the motor shaft directly drives the compressor unit without the need for additional parts, such as belts, the compressors offer a particularly compact design. The direct drive transmission system also affords impressively quiet operation at a lesser dB level at peak load compared to belt diven models. A further benefit of the direct driven system is that vibration levels are considerable decreased, contributing to reduced wear & tear, greater longevity and a longer timeline between routine maintenance and service schedules.
